Affiliate program
Refer someone who subscribes and you keep 30% of what they pay, every month, for as long as they stay. Applications are reviewed by hand. Lemon Squeezy handles the links, the tracking and the payouts.
Before you spend any effort on this
OrbitalWiki is new and has no meaningful sales history. Nobody is earning from this program yet, and we are not running a campaign around it. It is open because it should be open, not because we can show you it works.
Terms
- Commission
- 30% of each payment. That is €8.70 a month on Builder and €29.70 a month on Business, or €87 and €297 in one go on the annual plans.
- Renewals
- Included. You are paid on renewal payments too, not only the first one.
- Approval
- By hand, not automatic. A person reads every application, so expect a few days rather than a link the moment you apply. Automatic approval was switched off after a coupon site signed up to farm the program.
- Attribution window
- Thirty days from the click, credited to the most recent referrer. The click and the paid subscription both have to fall inside those thirty days, and the buyer has to create an account first, so the window is tighter than it looks.
- Payouts
- Lemon Squeezy pays on NET30 terms, which is not the day you cross the minimum: commission earned in January is paid out around 15 March. The minimum balance is theirs too, $11.53, roughly €10, so the euro figure moves with the exchange rate.
- Refunds and chargebacks
- A commission is reversed if the payment behind it is refunded or charged back. We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase, so this really happens. It is also why payouts are held for thirty days. Commission is earned on a successful paid charge, not on a trial starting.
- Who may join
- Anyone over 18 who can hold a Lemon Squeezy payout account and is not subject to sanctions that would stop us paying them. You take part as an independent party, not as our employee or agent, and you are responsible for your own income tax and any VAT on what you earn. People who work on OrbitalWiki may not earn on referrals.
- Ending the program
- We may close the program, or a single account, at any time and without notice. If we do, commission you have already earned and that has not been reversed is still paid out on the normal schedule. The exception is fraud or a breach of the rules below, where unpaid commission may be withheld.

How it works
You apply through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, and it gives you a referral link that points at www.orbitalwiki.com and carries your code. Promote that link, not a lemonsqueezy.com address: someone has to have an OrbitalWiki account before a subscription means anything, so a link that goes straight to the payment page charges them for an account that never gets upgraded. Anyone who follows your link, subscribes inside the attribution window, and is not refunded is credited to you. Lemon Squeezy tracks the sale and pays you directly, and we never see your payout details.
What you would be referring people to is on the pricing page. Read it before you promote anything, so what you say about the limits is right.
What we ask
- Do not bid on our name in paid search. You would be buying traffic that was already coming to us.
- No unsolicited mail, no comment spam, no posting the link into threads it does not answer.
- Do not describe the data or the limits as anything other than what the pricing and methodology pages say.
- Say that the link is an affiliate link wherever you post it. In most countries that is your legal obligation, and it is the difference between a recommendation and an advert.
- Referring your own account does not count, and neither does buying the subscription yourself through your own link.
